Star Wars: Zero Company Officially Announced – A Tactical Galactic Adventure Arrives in 2026

It’s an exciting time to be a Star Wars fan! At the recent Star Wars Celebration, fans were treated to a surprise reveal of a brand-new title—Star Wars: Zero Company—and we’ve finally got confirmation: it’s coming in 2026 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Developed by Bit Reactor, a relatively new studio packed with strategy game veterans, Zero Company is shaping up to be a love letter to fans of tactical gameplay and deep narrative storytelling.

With support from Lucasfilm Games and Respawn Entertainment, and published by EA, this project has some serious firepower behind it.

Set in the gritty, morally grey tail-end of the Clone Wars, the game stars Hawks, a former Republic officer who now leads an elite squad of operatives on high-stakes missions.

The storyline hints at a new, rising threat—one that’s bound to shake up the galaxy far, far away.

What really sets Zero Company apart is its turn-based tactics gameplay, a direction we don’t often see in Star Wars titles.

And if you’re someone who loves making meaningful choices that ripple through the story—this game has you covered. Bit Reactor promises that player decisions will directly impact outcomes in the game.

You’ll be able to swap in and out members of your customizable squad, each with unique skills, classes, and even species.

The main character, Hawks, is also fully customizable—from his appearance to his combat role. And yes, it sounds like there’ll be a fair bit of time spent at a base of operations, building out your network of informants, planning missions, and investigating threats across the galaxy.

The first few screenshots already look promising—capturing that gritty, war-torn feel from Clone Wars media, while introducing fresh characters to the canon.

There's no Jedi at the center here—just hardened operatives doing what needs to be done, and that's a refreshing shift.

While the 2026 release window means we’ve got a bit of a wait, the reveal alone has sparked a buzz across the fan community.

Between its deep strategic roots and narrative focus, Star Wars: Zero Company could be the tactical Star Wars game fans have been waiting for.

Whether you’re here for the story, the gameplay, or just another excuse to live in the Star Wars universe—this one’s definitely going on the radar.

Here’s hoping we get more info soon, because this squad looks ready to make some noise in the galaxy.
